I was 24 years old, sitting at a closing table with a pen in my hand, my checkbook in
front of me, and a heart full of emotions I didn’t quite know how to name yet.
I remember feeling proud.
I remember feeling nervous.
I remember thinking, Is this really happening?
Becoming a homeowner for the first time is a milestone you don’t forget — whether
you’re signing papers in person, closing virtually from a laptop, or buying your first home
at 24, 44, or 64. The setting may change, but the feeling is the same: this is mine.
That moment is one of the biggest reasons I love what I do today.
